Under the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and of the Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights, you are hereby informed about the data protection policy of the Poio Town Council.

The purpose of the processing of personal data will be, in general, to manage the different administrative procedures and report on their processing, verify or check the accuracy of the personal data that the interested parties declare that they already have in the power of the Public Administrations or that they have previously provided, as well as to make notifications and process appeals. The data may also be processed to manage requests for information, suggestions, communications in general and send newsletters.

The processing of your data is carried out for the fulfillment of legal obligations by the Poio Town Council, for the fulfillment of missions carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers conferred to the Town Council, as well as when the purpose of the processing requires your consent, which must be given through a clear affirmative action. In any case, the basis of the legitimation will be included in the basic information clauses available in the personal data collection forms.

The personal data provided will be kept as long as its deletion or cancellation is not requested, for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to determine the possible responsibilities that may arise from the purpose, in addition to the periods established in the regulations on archives and documentation.

In general, personal data will not be communicated to third parties, but according to current legislation and whenever necessary for the management of the procedure or request, these may be communicated to other Public Administrations in the exercise of their powers, to official gazettes, web pages or bulletin boards of the Poio Town Council to give the legally required publicity in the procedures where it is necessary. The basic information clauses will include, in any case, the specific recipients of the data.

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation on the processing that the Poio Town Council is carrying out on their data.

You can exercise your rights of access to your data, rectification or deletion thereof, to the limitation or opposition to its processing, to the portability of your data, not to be the subject of decisions based solely on the automated processing of your data, as well as to the revocation of the consent granted at a certain time. For this, you must send an email to the address rgpd@concellopoio.gal, or by writing submitted by registry in the Town Council or sent to the address thereof, indicating in any case the right you wish to exercise and accompanied by a copy of the DNI or similar document that proves your identity. You are also informed of the right that assists you to file claims with the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, as the competent Control Authority in the matter.
