Os principais argumentos s\u00e3o a topon\u00edmia galega empregada na geografia da descoberta; a linguagem utilizada por Colombo nos seus escritos, com abundantes express\u00f5es t\u00edpicas do sul da Galiza e a presen\u00e7a dos apelidos Col\u00f3n e Fonterosa (apelido materno) nas terras de Pontevedra da \u00e9poca. reabilitadas, vinculadas \u00e0 fam\u00edlia Colombo e identificadas como casa natal do navegador e uma constru\u00e7\u00e3o de nova cria\u00e7\u00e3o. O espa\u00e7o museol\u00f3gico, tamb\u00e9m conhecido como A Casa da Cruz, acolhe uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o permanente onde, atrav\u00e9s de ecr\u00e3s, maquetas, bibliografia e v\u00eddeos, se oferece ampla informa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a figura do navegador. <\/p><h3><strong>Uma carta n\u00e1utica de 1500<\/strong><\/h3><p>A casa museu conta com uma r\u00e9plica da nau Santa Maria e tamb\u00e9m se exibe o document\u00e1rio \u201cPontevedra, cuna de Col\u00f3n\u201d, realizado em 1927 pelo cineasta Enrique Barreiro com uma pioneira t\u00e9cnica de colora\u00e7\u00e3o, o cinecromo.
